The Path is an upcoming exhibition taking place at North House Gallery in Manningtree, Essex, running from 6 July to 24 August 2019. The exhibition marks the 25th Anniversary of the Stour Valley Path, which is situated close by to the gallery, and includes three of Jason’s etchings: ‘Fox Covert, North Yorkshire’, ‘Underwood, North Yorkshire (diptych)’ and ‘Fox Covert, Thirsk, North Yorkshire’.
Jason says, “The three prints in this show were all made in 2004/5 in woodland owned by a great friend of mine. This woodland is mainly left to its own devices and the drawings for these prints were made at a point where four paths cross.”
The exhibition also features works by renowned artists Norman Ackroyd RA, Neil Bousfield, May Cornet, Melvyn King, Kit Leese, Jane Lewis, Sarah Milne, Ruth Philo, Oliver Soskice, Dina Southwell, Jasper Startup and Linda Theophilus. The private view is on 6 July, 2 – 6 pm.
The Path is part of the River Stour Festival 2019, an year-long event celebrating the river, local culture and surrounding landscape.
