I visited the Orkneys in December 2015, taking the ferry from Scrabster across the Pentland Firth and alighting in the Island’s capital, Stromness. The weather and short days limited the islands I was able to visit, and these etchings were made on the mainland, South Ronaldsay and Hoy. Twenty of the etchings were collated into a solander box and are limited to an edition of ten, entitled ‘Orkney: Gods of the Earth, Gods of the Sea’.
